David (Kip) Denning, CEO

David (Kip) has experience in several industries including construction, finance, software, and others. He loves people and has a history of building and maintaining strong client relationships.

He has taken an entrepreneurial attitude to work in small and large organizations. His clients have also included individuals and small companies to corporations with 8,000 employees, and large public entities.

In addition to working in finance, Kip has managed projects implementing finance and accounting and operations software (ERP) gaining further insight into different companies and industries. He created a pilot program at a multibillion-dollar company resulting in turning loss of clients to contract renewals, client satisfaction score increases, and internal cost savings. Rolled the program out in the nationwide division.

The great thing about working with Crescendo Now is that Kip gets to work with small businesses. He loves the people running them and wants to see them succeed. “We have a great team of accountants and others who are ready to help you.”

Crystal Robinson, CPA

Crystal has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, an MBA, and is a licensed CPA. Before joining Crescendo Now in 2023, Crystal held the VP of Finance/Corporate Controller role for a start-up pharmaceutical company. Her expertise includes managing all General Accounting and financial planning and analysis functions including budgeting and forecasting and treasury management.

With more than 25 years of public and private accounting experience in various industries, Crystal brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to businesses.

After spending over 25 years in “Corporate America”, Crystal decided she wanted to do something more meaningful. Focusing on consulting and accounting services for small businesses and individuals while providing mentorship opportunities to accounting professionals early in their career was a natural thing to do. She is exceptional at cleaning up clients’ books and consistently earns their respect and admiration. We are grateful she is part of the Crescendo Now team.

Howard Curth, EA, Enrolled to Practice before the IRS

Howard graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a composite minor in business and military science. After graduation he served in the US military as an Army officer for four years and was honorably discharged. One of his extra duties was serving as the battalion tax officer.

In August 2011, Howard completed the professional licensing requirements and became an enrolled agent. Enrolled agents (EAs) are America’s Tax Experts. EAs are the only federally licensed tax practitioners who specialize in taxation. Only enrolled agents, attorneys, and CPAs have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

Some of Howard’s life experiences include living in Germany for nearly twenty years. He has traveled throughout Western Europe. He met his wife, Marie, in Frankfurt, Germany while serving in the military. Marie is a native of Bountiful, Utah. Howard and Marie are the proud parents of three children and eight little granddaughters.

His major areas of professional interest are tax planning, tax resolution, filing returns, and military and expatriate tax issues. He realizes that sometimes bad things happen to good people and it is easy for good hard working Americans to fall behind on their taxes.

Nathan Hansen, Data Scientist

Nathan has built user friendly machine learning forecasting and other data models, along with creating programs that improve workflow.

He graduated from BYU with a BS in Information Systems and a Minor in Mathematics, and joined Crescendo Now in 2022.

Nathan loves anything to do with the outdoors, especially backpacking, rock climbing, skiing, and canyoneering. He has been backpacking in Iceland and all over the western US.
